Applicants with olfactory sensitivities may find it challenging to be present in the workshop due to fragrances we use to create certain products.
Impulsive, self-injurious, or destructive behaviors are not supported.
Our application process begins with a tour, preferably with your child, typically lasting one hour. The next step is to complete the formal application found on our website. Applicants may then be invited to attend a "volunteer day" during which he/she will spend at least a full day (often multiple days) in the Together workshop. Following these steps, our staff will carefully review the formal application and discuss observations made during the applicant's "volunteer" days to make a determination of suitability for the program.
There are many ways to get involved with Together at Mikey's Place, such as volunteering in our workshop, making a donation, purchasing our products, or attending one of our markets. Please see the Volunteer page on our website for more information.
